Jordan had a tough start to the day with bogeys on her first two holes before finding her feet and hitting 3 π₯ with just one more bogey for even. Round two would again start with bogeys on both her second and third hole of round two before she rallied with 4 π₯ and single par over 5 strokes that took her to -2 and 5th place briefly. The last 6 holes were trouble that included a bogey and then a par followed by a double bogey when she drove her ball into the woods followed by a shot that hit a tree. According to SuperMom she was lucky to get out of there with merely a double as it could have been much worse. She had two eagle opportunities (they were from 30-40 feet so by no means a sure thing) but neither of them fell. She had only a single three putt, but overall she missed 5 birdie putts that were very very makable.
In the end, she had one double bogey, six bogeys, 22 pars, and 7 π₯βs in 36 holes. Tomorrow she will play the final 18 and attempt to climb the leaderboard. SuperMom is completely exhausted having walked for 10 straight hours and about 13 miles.
Thatβs all for now. Thank you very much for all of the support today and always. T times are not yet published but it should be a shotgun at 830 local, 930 eastern.
