Yesterday was not pretty for the B. Two double bogeys, two three putts, four additional bogeys and not a single single birdie was how she ended the day digging herself a pretty deep hole shooting an 80, a full nine strokes off the leader. After the round she spent the next hour and a half working through it with Coach Jerry Yochum who is definitely her muse. Just like when Jerry was with her at Torrey Pines four years ago and it looked like she was done, Jerry nursed her back to life and today she came out swinging.
“It ain’t about how hard you get hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward,” Rocky Balboa.
Today Jordan shot the low round at the Ct Women’s Am at just 1 over par and a full five strokes better then the next closest competitor. B made up 5 strokes today with brilliant play that included 3 🐥’s and an 🦅 that she sunk on her second shot of the 13th hole, a par 4. She goes to sleep tonight just 4 strokes behind the leader with 18 holes left to play. Tomorrow she will T off in the final group at 9:20. Only 24 of the original 36 who started made the cut today. Caddy Brad was instrumental in keeping Jordan calm and focused and will again be on the bag for tomorrow’s final round.
For those who are interested, tomorrow’s final round will be televised via live streaming. The link to watch is
