In a roller coaster of a day Jordan was forced off the course as darkness turned to pitch black with two holes left to play. B started the day with a 🐥on hole one, a par on two, a second 🐥on three followed to go to -2 after three. She would then go +9 over the next 17 holes including 8 bogeys and a double bogey with a single 🐥. Just when it looked like it was over, B shook the cobwebs free, called on her inner leprechaun and let Kansas see what happens when Tyrannosaurus bears her teeth taking charge and carding -4 through the next 12 holes bogey free with 4🐥’s.

Jordan ended the first round at +5 in 39th place of the 76 players from 14 schools stretching the entire way across the country. Now she has clawed her way up the leaderboard hitting the locker room for the night in a tie for 10th place with 2 holes still to play for round 2, and an entire 18 still to go. She is just a single stroke out of 5th place, two strokes out of 3rd, and 4 out of second. She is +3 on the day and leads her team once again.

The conditions today were dreadful with steady rain from 10 am that never let up. SuperMom is completely water logged and was racing to Jersey Mikes to buy B dinner as the food they gave her last night must have had gluten in it as it made Jordan sick. When SuperMom hung up with dad Jordan was coming through the door of her hotel room while verbally working through a couple of friction points with Coach Carl. She has 36 minutes to spend with her mother before she needs to be back to her room for the 9ppm curfew.

Jordan will be back out on 17 when they blow the horn for play to commence at 8 am to finish the final two holes of round 2 before T’ing it once again for round 3 off of hole number 1 at 9:30 where SuperMom will again be there to cheer her on before returning to Orlando tomorrow night after midnight.
