GAINSVILLE, FL. Tomorrow at UF Jordan will attempt to earn a spot at the 2025 US Girls Jr. Championship. (Click for Pics and more).

This morning at 8am SuperMom, B and Uncle David the Caddy drove from Orlando to Gainsville for Jordan’s 11am practice round at Mark Bostick Golf Course at the University of Florida. Course is long and difficult and David had his work cut out for him helping Jordan navigate and strategize for tomorrow’s qualifier. This is a “One and Done” format. One round, 18 holes, winner and runner up take all. There are 40 who will fight for just two spots. Those two go to Atlanta in July, the rest go home empty handed. It is as simple as that.

Jordan’s T time is 8:51 so they will pack up and leave the hotel for the course at around 7am so B can warm up, then play the round. Jordan is primed and ready to go coming off of her 66, 6 under par round on Sunday and will try to continue that momentum into tomorrow. SuperMom and Uncle David report that she is relaxed and massively focused. Tonight was a great dinner at a steak and fish joint followed by desert and some laughs at Dave & Busters for some light hearted arcade play before turning in early for a solid night of sleep.

That’s all for now. We will be back tomorrow night to tell you how it went. Finally, a big shout out to another one of Jordan’s biggest supporters, John Schleef. John created Jordan’s TyrannosaursB logo and regularly updates it when B needs it for her bags and other merch. John won two Emmy’s this week, his 13th and 14th. One was for the design of the last Olympics and the other for the Olympics Interactive experience. Jordan is so incredibly grateful to have John as her personal marketing and graphics department. Thanks John, congratulations from team B!

Team B’s incredibly overqualified and woefully under-payed head of all graphics and design!

  1. Go Jordan, Go!!!! Can’t wait to see how it goes for you…will be following. Love the steak knife choice (they didn’t have one bigger?!?!) …and I have to say, the food you all are eating on the road always looks amazing! (Nice inclusion of John in the blog about Jordan…that was an unexpected surprise as I was reading down the screen. He read it over my shoulder and just said, “It’s all about the team.” And then asked how you got that picture and knew the details (!!!), because you know he’d never tell anyone himself!)
