BELLVILLE, IL. Only 36 holes stand between Jordan and the 2025 US Woman’s Open at Erin Hills Wisconsin. (Click for pics and story).

Tomorrow B will attempt to qualify for the 80th US Woman’s Open that will be played from May 29th to June 1st in Wisconsin. As written earlier, the path is a brutal one to get there. If you meet the minimum criteria for required handicap and you have the will, you sign up at one of the 29 qualifiers both around the country and around the world that take place over 3 weeks. Depending on the number of players and the strength of the field, 1-3 of the top players from each qualifier go to the OPEN. Tomorrow in Bellvielle, IL the top two of the field of 70 that includes four current LPGA Tour players and one small dinosaur will secure their spots. Jordan is planning to be one of them.

SuperMom and B along with her caddy, our friend David Sirkin got on line for SouthWest Airlines at noon yesterday in Orlando and flew to St. Louis where they picked up the rental car and drove the 30 minutes to Belleville IL. Last night they went out for dinner and bought supplies before an early bedtime. This morning breakfast was at FirstWatch before Jordan’s 12:45 practice round. David reported in that in that St. Clair Country club where the qual is being played is an extremely hilly and narrow course that will favor precision ball strikers. It is very easy to get in trouble. This type of course plays into Jordan’s strengths. Both he and SuperMom reported that Jordan was loose and laughing and had a great Italian dinner.

They are asleep early and plan to arrive at the course at 8:00am for B’s 9:30 T time off of hole one. The second round will begin at 2:45 off of hole number 10. Make no mistake about it, this will be a very long and strenuous day for Jordan, David on the bag, and SuperMom that will have them getting to the golf course at first light and leaving as the sun sets with close to 11 straight hours of golf and walking close to 15 miles. This is not for the faint of heart but if victorious Jordan will advance to the US Women’s Open, the biggest event in Professional woman’s golf.
