CORAL SPRINGS FL. Jordan shoots +5 to end the Dixie Amateur in 48th place wrapping up a very difficult 72 holes of golf.

In the end B shot 76-80-82-77 in what was a very high scoring tournament for everyone. The winner is a 22 year old D1 player from FSU who certainly earned her victory. Hats off to her.

Today Jordan had a triple bogey, (ball in the water), a double bogey, (another ball in the water), two bogeys, 12 pars, and 2 🐥’s. Wind today was again a HUGE factor. SuperMom said that there were some really solid shots. Over 4 days and 72 holes Jordan only missed 3 fairways total. This means that her field in regulation accuracy is a staggering 95.8%. Over time she will learn to handle the wind better for sure but these kind of tournaments is where Jordan’s short playing history comes into play. Through it all though she never lost her nerve, never lost her cool and persevered to the very last hole.

For the first time in the 4 years since she started, Jordan will put her clubs away for a full 9 days as she goes on a family vacation. Her next tournament will be the Orlando International Amateur January 4th through the 6th at Mission Inn Resort at Howe in the Hills FL.

That’s all for now. This was a tough one for all. Jordan loved having Allen come to watch her play and is grateful for all of the comments now and always. We will be back in early January. A very Merry Christmas to all who celebrate and a Happy Chanukah to others. Wishing everyone a Happy and healthy New Year. Until next year, so long for now.

  1. That’s my Jordan Dad – you said it right about Jordan “She never lost her nerve, never lost her cool, and persevered to the very last hole” and that is Jordan. That counts – and I love that about Jordan. grandma jerie Dec 15, 2024,
