ORLANDO, FL. The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour’s National Championship Weekend begins today.

Every December The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosts a tournament that they call their National Championship. There are actually two tournaments that run concurrently at four different venues in Orlando and upwards of 1000 juniors in total compete from ages 4 through 18. To qualify, you need to have placed in the top 5 of one of The Hurricanes 400 plus tournaments all over the country over the past 12 months. Doing that gets you an invite to Orlando. O

One tournament is for those who have finished 2-5. The other tournament, the one B is competing in is called “The Tournament of Champions,” and to get invited to that one you need to have WON an event. All 86 players in Jordan’s tournament have a first place victory. B got hers last February at Rio Pinar winning the HJGT Orlando Junior Open.

This is a short tournament at only 36 holes played over two days so Jordan will have to get right to it. with 86 girls competing and the limited number of holes the winner is going to have to stay laser focused.
