Jordan will T up today in the first round of the Jimmy Anderson Girls Invitational in New Bern North Carolina.

SuperMom packed Jordan up on Thursday and took the show on the road once again flying into Raleigh followed by a two plus hour drive to get to this quiet North Carolina town. Yesterday she played a practice round where SuperMom said she looked relaxed and comfortable.

It has been five weeks since Jordan last competed in what was an extremely challenging and difficult summer tour. During this time Jordan began her senior year of high school at Dwight Global, migrated back to Orlando, began her winter training with coach Carl Rabito and traveled to South Bend for her “Official Visit” at Notre Dame where the coaches showed B and her family an amazing weekend including a football game where Jordan was escorted onto the field before the start of the game and she made it onto the Jumbotron.

This is a quick two day tournament to get Jordan back in to competition mode before her qualifier in two weeks in Arkansas for the USGA Four Ball. We will post an explanation for this one next week with details. Today Jordan’s T time will be 1:57 and with only 36 holes to play she will have little time to acclimate as every hole will count. This course is not simple at almost 6000 yards and rated a hair under 75.

This is a Peggy Kirk Bell run event for the Carolinas Golf Association. It is open to girls from all states but the field is heavily loaded with North Carolina players. A total of 40 players will T off today beginning at noon. Link below is the live leaderboard for those who wish to follow.

That’s all for now. Again, it is incredibly humbling for us to receive the irritated texts and emails when we don’t post for a while. Can’t begin to explain how much it means to Jordan and all of us. Be back tonight to share highlights of the day and any images SuperMom sends into the newsroom.
