Jordan is only two strokes off the lead after Day 1 at the Mizuno. (Click for pics and details)

Leaving the hotel this morning.

In another topsy-turvy round of golf Jordan shoots a 76 (+4) to end the day in a 4 way tie for 13th place only 2 strokes off the lead in what is a very closely packed field. 9 players are tied for the lead at +2 and another 3 are in tenth place at +3.

B’s round was one of extremes opening the day with a double bogey on the first hole then 2 more bogeys and 2 🐥’s with 4 pars to end the front at +2. The back 9 had another 4 bogeys, another 2 🐥’s and just 3 pars to card another +2 on the back. In the end she would have the highest number of 🐥’s of any girl on the day and she needed them all to counter the 6 bogeys and 1 double and stay in the hunt. It was an exhausting round of golf as Jordan never quit even though very little went her way.

B’s very colorful scorecard today

Tomorrow is another day and there are still 36 holes to play. After the round ended around two pm Jordan and coach Carl worked through some things via zoom as SuperMom held the camera and drove her from one driving range to the next closing down two so Jordan could get the work in to fix what was broken before tomorrow’s second round until the sun set. An early dinner and early to sleep as tomorrow’s T time will be at 8:27.

That’s all for now. Great comments and encouragement for Jordan. She is deeply grateful for the support.
