Jordan back to it today in Palm Harbor Florida for the AJGA Junior at Innisbrook. (Click for pics, details etc.)

B will take the T at 2:00 today for her first AJGA of the 2024 season. This one should be super exciting for her. The AJGA is rolling in right behind the PGA who was at the resort last week for the Valspar. Much of the infrastructure for that tournament is still up all around including bleachers and grandstands and signage. This tournament will be on the Island Course for those who know the property, not Copper Head where the championship was played last week. The report from SuperMom from yesterday’s practice round is that the course is in excellent condition and greens are fast. There are lots of narrow fairways and hazards abound which will favor the ball strikers. This is a 54 hole tournament being contested over three days.

This tournament happens to be one of the most coveted on the AJGA schedule with the exception of the invitationals. Over 250 girls applied for one of the 42 available spots. Only those with exempt status ended up being admitted (Jordan earned exempt AJGA status when she captured the NY Jr. Am title in Lake Placid in July). In this tournament including both the boys and the girls side there are a total of 132 players that have come from 13 countries and 22 individual states. 44 of the total players have already committed to play college golf.

That’s all for now. Thank you SuperMom for the photos, keep em coming! A big thank you for everyone who supports Jordan on this journey. Be back tonight with the update from today’s action.
