Jordan shot a 74 today, 2 over par and won the tournament 68-77-74. These were brutal conditions and this was her first victory of 2024.
In the end, Jordan won by a single stroke. As everyone who was following knows, it was a nail biter. Jordan’s kept it together playing a consistent game carding 2 bogeys and 16 pars with only a single 3 putt on 18. Bella whose family home is on this golf course took a serious run at the lead shooting -2 today. According to SuperMom, her knowledge of the course allowed her to take some extraordinary risks that paid off and almost secured her the victory. Hats off to her. She is a fierce and unflappable competitor. For class of 2026 she is the number 16 ranked player in the world. Last year after this tournament we made the comment that this was Jordan and Bella’s first battle, but it would not be the last. In the end out of the 38 girls that played only Bella was competitive. Third place was a full 14 strokes behind Jordan when all of the cards were totaled. A busload of the players this weekend were from the revered IMG Academy. This victory gains Jordan entry into the 2024 HJGT Tournament of Champions in December of this year.

A big thank you to Coach Carl for coming to see the end of the tournament today. Jordan was thrilled that he was there to celebrate her victory that he was so much a part of.

That’s all for now. Jordan will focus on training and school for the next 4 weeks before returning to competition so there will not be much to discuss on the blog.
