Yesterday Jordan shot a 73 (+1) in the opening round. She had 15 fantastic holes including 4 🐥’s at the West Course at Bulls Run yesterday. Jordan ran into trouble on two holes, two and fifteen, both double bogeys. B went back to back 🐥’s on 10 & 11 both par 5’s, 511 yards and 450 yards respectively. On both of these holes she was on in 2, not an EASY task from both of those distances. She lipped out an eagle on 10. Golfers always say, “If this happened or that happened……”. Well, let’s play that for a second; Double bogeys are extremely rare for Jordan. You can do the math. Great play overall. Of the 66 competitors in this National Championship Invitational, Jordan leads or is tied with 51 one of them. Today will be very exciting. This tournament is far from over. She is only 4 strokes out of 2nd place with 36 still to play. The leader shot an extraordinary -7 yesterday. Continuing that level of play today on the East Course, the more difficult one will be a lot harder. As Coach Carl told dad last night, “When they get to the East Course we will see who has real skill as that is a serious golf course.”
T time this morning is 10:14 off of hole 1. SuperMom is joined by Jordan’s first cousin Dallas West who was also there for the action yesterday. Temps this morning were around 46 degrees but should be in the mid 60’s by game time. Much improved from the 26 that Julie reported on Thursday morning.

Jordan you are doing so well – I am so impressed with your accomplishments. Nice to have your cousin Dallas come to be with you and Super Mom. Adam you came to visit with us a few years ago in Florida and we enjoyed spending time with you and Dallas, Dylan, and Nytalya. Now you are in your military clothes – in the Israeli army to help keep Israel safe – Thank you and stay safe while you do this – we love you, jerie and selwyn
