Jordan arrives in North Carolina for the Peggy Kirk Bell 54 Hole Memorial Day Championship in Salisbury. (Click for pictures and more).

B and SuperMom hit the road at 4:59am today on their way to North Carolina to kick off a two week trip that will cover three cities and two 54 hole tournaments with a 3 day stopover with Coach Carl in Orlando in between. The first tournament is on the Peggy Kirk Bell Tour and will be Jordan’s debut there. The first round is Saturday, a 1PM shotgun where Jordan will start from hole number 1. After Sunday’s second round, the field will be cut from 50 who are starting down to the 25 with the top scores for the final round on Monday. Today was the first practice round with the second tomorrow. Severe weather threatens this tournament so if you have a “rain rain go away ritual” please give it a whirl.

The Gear. For this trip, temps are gong to range from 37 to 97. Lots of clothing and gear needed from heating pads to cooling towels. Knit hats to baseball caps. Long johns to skirts….you get the idea

One of these two is not a morning person. To give you a hint, her name rhymes with Yordan

A final laugh at the airport

To bring you up to date, Jordan has had a very busy few weeks. She played in two local events, The Lady Liberty Cup, and the Golf Illustrated trophy event. Both gave her the opportunity to play on a team, something she does not get to do often.

From the Lady Liberty Cup

The Golf Illustrated….Can you guess the winners?“

B leaves NC on Monday night bound for Orlando and a tune up from Coach Carl Rabito before she and SuperMom arrive in Hot Springs Arkansas a week from Saturday where Jordan will play an AJGA Open that whole week. We will bring you information on that tournament as it gets released.

That’s all for now. We will blog again on Saturday night to bring you all of the highlights from Day One of the Peggy Kirk Bell. Thank you for all of the comments, texts and calls with words of encouragement for The B. She reads and enjoys every single one of them even though she seldom gets to respond.

On a final note, she now has her learners permit so use all roads at your own peril!
