Day one at Rio Pinar finishes after dark with Jordan in a tie for 3rd place six strokes behind the leader. (Click for full story and pics).

Jordan finished the front 9 today at 2 strokes under par in a tie with the leader, who is currently ranked #18 in the world for the class of 2026. 3 🐥’s and one bogey and only 14 putts were the statistics for the front.

She would go on to par 10, bogey 11, par 12, 13 & 14. She was -1 going into the 15th hole at 6:07pm….the sun set at 6:13 and shadows were long, it was getting cold and dark, and the rules officials insisted that play continue. In B’s own words, “I started to rush and made some mistakes at that point.” She 3 putt 15 for bogey, 3 putt 16 for a double, and 3 putt 17 for another bogey. She finished 18 with a par at 6:33, a full 20 minutes after sunset. Being in the final group today was definitely not to Jordan’s advantage.

Going into tomorrow she is in 3rd place and is paired with the leader and the girl in 2nd place only two strokes ahead of her. The Hurricane Tour does not keep the same group going into day two of a three day tournament. The groups are made based on where they stand on the leaderboard. T time is at 1:20.

That’s all for now. Super Mom and Amazing Sister Lyla followed today enduring almost 8 hours on the course including warm up and a 20 minute delay. A big thank you to our incredible friend Tracy who swooped in to save the day and take Lulu out. A big congratulations to our friend Nicole Stewart on her wedding in Philly that Dad attended this evening. Nicole’s father Mark was with Dad at Bethpage for Jordan’s very first victory last year and is a big supporter of this blog. Thanks everyone for all the texts and comments today.

Super Mom snuck the following shots today during warm up….
