Winds were gusting over 40 miles and hour at one point in the tournament in driving rain. Finally, on the 15th hole, they blew the horn to stop play when BB sized hail pelted the field. This is a field of players that are all in the top few hundred of all junior players on the planet and the leader is 5 over par, 2nd place is +7, and third is +9. In her two practice sessions on Thursday and Friday B shot about even both of those days. As of this writing, the wind is blowing at 25, gusting to 40 once again.
Today was a very long day. Jordan left her room at 5:45am and was at the course by 6:15 for her 7:23 T time. The first T time was scheduled for 7am but had to be moved forward ten minutes as it was still too dark at 7 to play. Jordan T’d off at 7:33 and sunk her final putt at 5:25 Pm almost exactly 10 hours after she first T’d off and 12 hours after leaving her room. She literally played from before it was light until after it got dark without a break. The only saving grace for the players is that they got to ride in carts today. Carl and Dad were not so lucky. They had over 27,000 steps walking a little over 11 miles for the two rounds.
Tomorrow Jordan will play the last 18 holes beginning at 9:30. It will be a shot gun start and she will not learn where she is starting from until 9:15 when they assign them their T boxes. She will also not know who she is playing with until then as there are 7 girls that have yet to finish as it got dark before they could complete the round. After dinner tonight, Jordan and Carl were practicing putting on the lawn next to the hotel at 9pm trying to help Jordan re-align her stroke and keep her eyes down.
As for Jordan’s actual play, she lost all of her points (not counting the winds blowing 35 miles an hour) on putting. During the 36 holes, almost 25% of them were 3 putts, 8 in total. In addition, she missed 7 makable birdie putts. The golfers among you can do the math and recognize where on the leaderboard she would be if her putting was her normal stuff. Not making excuses, putting is one of those things that is either on or off and today it was definitely off.
Thats all for now. Thanks everyone for following and supporting Jordan. We are sincere grateful for all of the texts, emails, and calls.

Between the rain, hail, and wind it sounds brutal. And I’m amazed at Dad and Carl…what a Sunday stroll they took. Jordan as I read about each round of golf you play… each tournament….I admire you more and more. And I find myself taking such pride in your incredible strength and all the work you put into practice before you walk out to tee off and begin a new game. Knowing your parents and loving them and being Louis’s Mom I hope you are ok with that. 🤗😘 Hoping today will be a good day. Sending … always… support and xo. Nana Susan
