Today Jordan played in her first “Junior AM” where the AJGA Junior All Star Players get to be the Pros in the local Pro ams at the Gauntlet in Fredericksburg…..And her team won. (Click for Details and photos).

After 4 brutal 8 hour days for Super Mom being the liaison between Carl Rabito and the B with the help of dozens of videos and work in front of the mirror, the elbow is moving in the right direction at the right time and Jordan’s swing is back on track.

This morning at 6 am, Super Mom, Amazing Super Fan sis Lyla and The B piled into the car and drove 6 hours to Virginia to get Jordan to the Gauntlet in time to meet up with her team members for the Junior Am. The format of the Four Ball tournament was called a “Shamble”. The group got to use the best drive off the T (everyone used Jordan’s on every hole except one) but Jordan had to use her own every time. They also all got strokes based on their handicaps (except the kids like B). Jordan led her foursome to victory where they shot -15. Jordan personally shot -3 straight up which is a great practice round for her. Yes, Yirong, we know that practice rounds are not tournaments, but Jordan did get a good look at the course and the locals she played with and led to victory showed her the ins and outs of the Gauntlet.

Tomorrow is another practice round for Jordan, then the tournament kicks off on Tuesday morning for the first of the three days.
