After 10 hours with Carl between Friday and Saturday AND an incredible Hot Pot dinner at the Zheng’s home, Jordan and Super Mom headed to Urbana to get ready for this weeks tournament.
Jordan played the qualifier yesterday to get a first look at the course, then played another this morning. Yesterday was a stop and go mess with two long delays due to lightning on the course. The B would lose her mojo and after being even going into 13, she had two doubles and a single bogey to shoot 5 over and end in 10th place. Good news is that she is already in the tournament, so this has no effect on the actual tournament that begins tomorrow. Today’s practice round was much more straightforward and B shot a 1 over par 73. She had 2 Bogeys, 15 pars, and 1 bird. She is relaxed and ready for tomorrow.
