Jordan shoots -2 to tie for low round of the day at York and solidify her place above the cut line.

Yesterday B got off to a bit of a slow start (no doubt shaking off the jet lag from her red-eye home from San Diego). In round one she shot +4 on the front nine, then locked down the back shooting even to end at +4 tied for 10th place.

Today, she was fully back to form shooting even on the front 9 with one 🐥 and one bogey. On the back, B would accelerate her pace with only one bogey and 3 more 🐥’s. As coach Carl would tell us, “Jordan is getting comfortable shooting under par now. It is a psychological thing that sometimes takes a guy a while to overcome even when the skill exists.” Exciting to watch this new chapter unfold.

After todays round, a third of the field was cut and only the top 2/3’s will compete tomorrow.. Jordan is in a 3 way tie for 7th place and only one stroke out of a top 5 finish. She is 7 strokes off the leader. T time is at 9:40 AM.

Following the round, Super Mom will begin the drive from York PA to Bollingbrook Il for some work with Coach Carl Friday afternoon and Saturday morning before starting the next tournament on the summer tour, The AJGA Junior All Star at Urbana in Urbana Illinois July 25th – July 28th.

Thats all for now. No pictures have been sent from York unfortunately so we have nothing to share. Thank you for your interest and encouragement of the B.

  3. You are getting to see so many different cities all over the US and playing on all these different golf courses – great experience for a 15 year old – I am enjoying this vicariously. Have a great game today and on to Illinois…I’m with you – love you, gramma jerie
