Today Jordan will go up against 53 of the top Junior golfers in the Metropolitan PGA section to earn her spot in the 73rd U.S. Girls Junior Amateur Championship that will be held in Bowling Green Kentucky July 18-23rd.

As Jordan’s freshman year in high school draws to a close today, her 2022 summer tour revs into full swing with today’s qualifier in Watchung NJ. This will be the start of Jordan’s second full summer of competition and she is fitter and stronger both mentally and physically then she has ever been.

Coaches have said their final words, Darren is on the scene at Watchung, and the conditions should be perfect for today’s Qualifier. It has yet to be announced how many spots are in contention, but seeing the other qual’s that have already taken place all around the country, best guess is that their will be 2 or 3 with an equal number of alternates. The link below may or may not be a live leaderboard but we will blog this evening to share the day.

Thats all for now. Thank you for your support of Jordan and her journey.

  3. Jordan. Best wishes from the Texas Hill Country. And congratulations on the recent win and a great big shout out on making to to your Sophomore year in HS. Love following you here. Tell you Dad a big hello. And my grandson just graduated HS in Austin and is headed to Columbia so maybe we will run into you in NYC. You Dad owes me a drink anyway. And Brice (my grandson, needs a tip or two on his putting!)
