Jordan is headed to Florida tonight to compete in the Hurricane 54 Hole Celebration Junior Open. (Click for details).

The summer tour is getting off to a fast start this weekend with B’s first 54 hole event in several months. Tomorrow she will start the morning at 8:30am getting her new SIC putter fitted for her by Tim Cahill in Orlando. She will go directly from there to Celebration where she will play her practice round under the supervision of Coach Carl Rabito who is flying in from Chicago this evening.

Competition on Saturday morning will kick off with a 10:50 am T time.

The field for this weekend’s tournament.

Jordan has had a very busy last couple of weeks of practice while preparing for school finals. She played the Golf Illustrated Trophy Tournament on Long Island last week where she gave 2 division one 23 year olds a real run for their money beating both of them on the back 9. One of whom is playing in the US Open next week.

Warm up from the Golf Illustrated event in the pouring rain.

Jordan’s favorite meal to get her ready….a 3.5 lb Tomahawk Ribeye

Mom is with Jordan for this event braving the real feel temps in the mid 90’s. With luck she will send back lots of photos and video so we can share.

As we have no new photos, here is one from vault from team B photographer Danny Yirong Zhang.

Thats all for now. Thanks for the notes and the texts and the interest.
