Jordan started today just one stroke out of first place with a birdie on the first hole that would immediately put her in a tie for the lead. She parred two, bogeyed 3 and 4, parred 5, bogeyed 6, birdied 7 and 8, and parred 9 to end the front at a plus one and still tied for the lead.
On the back, 10 was a bogey, and 11 and 12 were pars. She was on fire, in the lead, and had momentum. Thirteen started out fine with a perfect drive down the middle. B was only 70 yards out and an easy chip away from a birdie opportunity when she chunked the ball advancing it only 8 yards and onto a difficult piece of dirt to play off of. She then hit the same bad chunk, advancing it only a few yards. Her fourth shot still did not reach the green. Her fifth got her up and within 8 feet. She missed her first putt, then sunk it on the second giving her a triple bogey. As bad as 14 was, 15 was worse. Jordan would hit three balls into the water, then three putt for 12 on a par 5, 7 over. It was a score she had never seen before and hopes to never see again. She went on to par the next three holes before bogeying 18 to end at 13 over par for the round and 20 over in total for the tournament.
As hard as the round was today for Jordan, she would still card a top ten finish. She is obviously disappointed but believes she learned a ton from the round today and will tomorrow refocus in preparation for her return to Mission Hills for the Mission Inn Junior Open next weekend.

Thats all we have for today. More from Mission Hills on Saturday. Thanks all.
Tough day! I guess this is part of becoming a professional.
Tomorrow is another day and I am sure she learned a lot from today.
