It came down to one stroke in the end. That was the difference between the winner and Jordan, the runner up. The B played a beautiful game today shooting a +2 (74). Her total over the two days was just 6 over par, 150 total strokes. The winner, 149.
Jordan would only bogey holes three and five today. She went the last 13 holes straight bogey free. Unfortunately, no birdies would fall. Hole # 18 lipped out which would have put her into a tie breaker with the winner. Overall, an incredible effort for her that she should be extremely proud of.
Allen Sirkin who watched both yesterday and today would remark, ”Jordan did not lose today, her play was extremely solid, the best I have ever seen her play, she just got beaten.”
Our friend Michael Wolff commented, ”Please tell Jordan congratulations from all of us. What an amazing accomplishment. If you are gonna get second place, make sure the person earns it…71 is strong. She is a rockstar -Freakin amazing!”
Thank you again to Allen who is hands down Jordan’s favorite spectator and biggest supporter for coming to both days of the tournament and for taking her to play at the Bears Club on Thursday. Also, thank you to Matt and Jodi for coming today and for providing some color to Jordan’s dad of the action as it unfolded.
Jordan and Julie are back in Orlando now for a week of school and practice. Friday B travels to FSU at Gainsville where she was accepted into her first Florida State Junior Golf Association Tournament. Junior Golf in Florida is hyper competitive so this weekend should be exciting. This tournament is called, ”FJT University of Florida (13-15) *54-Hole Major*. It is a three day event, Jordan’s first since the middle of August. Friday she will play a practice round, then 18 holes a day Saturday, Sunday, & Monday. The girls field is 27 accepted out of 77 who applied and includes the girl who won the Honda today. Jordan’s T time is 10:48 on Saturday. Not sure if there is a live leaderboard or not so will post the link on Friday when we find out.

Well, thats all we have. Thanks all for the super cool comments and words of encouragement for Jordan. They mean the world to us.

Congratulations Jordon. Not being there I can’t comment much on your round, but I can say it’s a long way from finishing 5,6,or 7th than finishing second with a lip out for a tie; wow. I continue to follow you through your dad’s post and root you on from Bonaire. Once again, congratulations and I look forward to telling people when you are playing on the LPGA TOUR that I was following you early on in your career (-:
