This week is about getting very technical with the release point…Super boring for non-golfers, lightbulbs for those who study the game. (click for pics and more)

Carl Rabito has named this week ”Release Week” and that is where the focus has been. He has also been spending lots of time on 100 yards and in as that is where Jordan lost all of her strokes at last weeks IMG Tournament. During day one, B had 9 tap ins that should have been either birdies or pars. 6 of them would have gone in with an extra half of a golf ball rotation. Carl is hellbent on not having that play our again this weekend at the National Championships. This will be the biggest field Jordan has ever played in with 115 girls between the ages of 14-18. To qualify for this tournament you needed to have a top 5 finish in a Hurricane Tournament. All of these girls should be good.

After Monday’s post we have received a number of inquiries about Carl Rabito, Jordan’s coach. Though Carl is obviously not the guy for the those just beginning, he can make anyones game better and often VERY quickly. A number of our friends who have come to observe Jordan’s training who are golfers have benefitted from Carl giving them a pointer or two both in Orlando and in New York.
