Jordan completed her 10 days of training in Orlando with Carl Rabito and arrived back in Pound Ridge last night for Bethpage this weekend. (Click for videos, leaderboard etc.)

After two weeks of swimming at 5am, long school days and 4-6 hour daily torture sessions with Carl, B got to sleep in her bed at home last night in Westchester. (Lyla and her dad were thrilled to see both her and her mom). Carl felt that training was extremely productive with lots of time both on the course and the range as well as plenty of putting work.

This afternoon B will spend some time at Rockrimmon with Jerry for a light practice before tomorrow’s opening round at Bethpage. This tournament is the last event of the Metropolitan Junior PGA 2021 season and all of the top players are coming out for what has become a ”wait list only” event. T time is 11:20 and Jordan’s foursome includes 3 very strong players who are 16,17, & 18 with many years of tournament golf. The oldest woman has already signed a letter of intent to play college this fall. Jordan is excited for the competition and feels ready to go. For the golf nuts among you, the girls will be playing from the gold t’s this weekend which are 5975 yards at Bethpage.

Below is the leaderboard for the event. Unfortunately, it is not live during play so we will not know where she stands until the end of each day. If you want to check it tomorrow, her round should be posted by 4:15 (just an estimation) with the final standings for the day closer to 5:30. So far on this tour this summer there has been a no spectator policy. There are rumors that they may lift those draconian precautions tomorrow and allow us to watch. If they do, Julie will post B’s score at the turn at approximately 1:45.
