After more then a month Jordan will be back to competition tomorrow. Her T time is at 1pm and the field is filled with many of the top 18 and under golfers from the NY metropolitan area. Unfortunately, there is no live scoring system in place so we will not know where she stands until the last competitor has signed her card and the scoring officials have recorded it. Link to the leaderboard is below.

On Sunday, Jordan and I had the pleasure of playing with our friend Eugene Goetz at his club (Trump Hudson Valley). Jordan had a bit of a rough go of the front nine (from 6,250 yards) shooting a 5 over. On the back though, she was superb shooting a -1 with three birdies and her last four holes were 1 putts to end the round at 76 on a course she had never seen. Thanks Gene for a great afternoon and your outstanding hospitality.

Jordan and Jerry have worked together over the past two days to get her head into the right place and make sure she is ready. They spent quite a bit of time on bunker work and putting and the B is ready to compete.

For those that do not know the story, in March of 2020 (last year) Jerry gave Jordan a golf lesson (reluctantly as he does not usually teach 13 year olds) and told her father that she had something special. To put it in context, this was the day after her father had taken her out for a round and she had shot 135. Needless to say, we did not believe Jerry last year. Now, a year and half later, we have to admit that he is obviously a much better judge of talent then we are. Jordan’s handicap now hovers around 1.
There are no words to express our gratitude for the work and effort that Jerry has put into Jordan’s development. We have come to love Jerry as not just a golf instructor, but as a friend and confidant. This journey would NOT have happened without you. Carl has done an incredible job with Jordan’s swing, but Jerry has turned Jordan into a golfer. Today, you will see in the picture that Jerry wore the Tyrannosaurs purple in support of Jordan and this weekends tournament. Not only did he have purple on his shirt, he had it on his shoes. Jerry will still be Jordan’s last call before she gets on the first T and her first call when she gets off the 18th green. Thank you Jerry and your exceptional wife PJ for all you have both done for Jordan. We look forward to many more special moments together.
Good luck ! Jordan looks great . So beautiful and strong .
