During yesterday’s practice round Jordan was hit in the foot (hard) from a ball hit by one of the boys that was practicing with her. Apparently the boy was hitting extra shots and in anger hit one super hard and out of control that struck B in her right foot while Julie and Jordan were driving to the next hole in a golf cart. The mother of the boys was suitably upset and went to get ice. Jordan finished the round and went back to the hotel to put her foot up and ice it.
This morning it was still swollen and painful but Jordan refused to withdraw. After watching Jordan limp through nine holes she consulted with Jerry and Carl who were adamant that Julie pull the plug and force a very brave and extremely stubborn 14 year old to discontinue.
They will leave Albany now and go get it x rayed to rule out a hairline fracture or some other such thing though it is probably not likely. We will update all later.

Seriously, I heard about this from Grandma, & am glad it was nothing serious, but sadly, seriously upsetting.

PS If it’s any comfort to know, I’ve been icing tennis elbow, possible sprained wrist and back pain so I feel your pain! Hope you’re all healed.
