Just finished day 3 of intensive work with Carl Rabito. One and a half more to go…(Click for details and pictures)

It is terribly hot here in Bolingbrook Illinois but that has not stopped Jordan from practicing 6 hours on Monday (she was supposed to arrive on Sunday night but because of the hurricane that was predicted to hit NY she arrived on Monday morning), 9 hours on Tuesday, and another 9 hours today. Real feel temperatures both yesterday and today topped 104. She and Carl are working to find tune her game with the goal of shaving a few more strokes off per round.

We have had the pleasure of spend time with our close friends, The Zhengs who live near by and Yirong brings cold drinks to Jordan and Carl every afternoon. On Monday night, we had Chinese Style Hot Pot with them at a restaurant with the name The Happy Lamb that Jordan’s dad has renamed the Miserable Goat.

Last night Jordan had amazing Greek food for dinner at a spot called Apolis Greek Street Food that B found on Yelp. They were also the subject of a food show segment for best burgers in Chicago.

The following are the videos Carl took today to share with Jerry Yochum, The Head Golf Professional at Rockrimmon and the other half of Jordan’s coaching duo. When one is working with Jordan, they send the other videos so that they can stay on the same page with Jordan’s development. If you are into golf, they are really super interesting. If you are not, you will probably find them extremely boring but you will appreciate the kind of hard work that Jordan puts in to achieve the precision that has taken her from 135 to par in just over a year. It still boggles the mind that she can keep up this kind of intensity for 8-9 hours at a time…but again, the blogger here is strongly biased.😉

Jordan will work with Carl again tomorrow for a full day, then a half day on Friday and return to NY on Friday night. On Saturday, at noon, Jordan will return for the second half of the Ladies Club Championship at Rockrimmon where she currently leads by 11 holes in match play. Sunday she travels to Albany NY to have a practice round in preparation for Monday’s Qualifier for the AJGA UHY Albany Junior at Normanside Country Club in Delmar, NY. If she qualifies on Monday, she will play the tournament Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. That’s all for now. Thanks for following her. We all love the comments and the interest.
