A week ago today B was about to start the Rolex in Wisconsin with no thoughts of RLX. What a difference a week makes. Today Jordan played her practice round at Bethpage Black in 100 degree heat with SuperMom by her side. This course is long, 6500 yards, and it is hard with rough six inches long. If you hit it in the rough, it is going to cost you a stroke, no if ands or buts about it. 32 of the best players in Junior golf that include 8 of the top 25 are here to play. This is Jordan’s first all Match Play tournament and it is great practice for the match play portion of the US Girls Jr. next month in Atlanta.
When brackets were announced last night, B drew the very top player as her opening match tomorrow at 8:40am. Her second match is at 2pm. Her third match is 9:10 on Wednesday morning and depending on how she does during those first 3 will determine what happens for the rest of the tournament. If she has done well up to that point she will progress on to Wednesday afternoon then Thursday and Friday. If she has not done well, she will go home.
