HOT SPRINGS, AR. Jordan shoots her best round of the tournament on Sunday, +2 to end the Mizuno in solo 11th place.

Each day of the tournament B took a stroke off to shoot 76-75-74 for the weekend. She had 5 bogeys, and 3🐥’s with 10 pars. No doubles, no eagles. Jordan summed it up best when Papa Sel asked, “What did Jordan think of her tournament?” Her answer, “I have definitely played better ones and I have definitely played worse ones.” And that really was the crux of the matter. There was no magic this weekend except for the very last hole of the tournament, number 18 on day 3 where B did not play it particularly well, in fact her 3rd shot on the par 5 landed 3 feet short of the green where she chipped it in for 🐥.

This one is behind her, she still managed to card a top 1/3 of the field finish in another AJGA. They arrived home this morning at a quarter to 2. B had a fitting with her rockstar fitter Tim at 9, then on to a few hours with coach Carl to practice and try out her new irons and wedges. The rest of the day was all classes, an hour of fitness in the gym, an early dinner, then a few more homework assignments before bed at 10.

Next stop on the tour will be Palm Harbor Fl for the AJGA Golf Performance Center Championship at Innisbrook. This is an incredibly popular event where the applications were in the 300’s and the only kids accepted had EXEMPT status and from there they were ranked for a spot. No rest for the wicked as SuperMom just finished unpacking this evening and is already packing for their departure on Wednesday afternoon. This one is a three hour drive, no flights. Thursday is the practice round and Friday is the first round of three. There will be a cut after Saturday’s round to top 24 of the original 42 and ties for Sunday.

That’s all for now. Be back on Thursday night with Friday’s T time and the link to the live leaderboard. A big thank you for all of B’s amazing supporters.

Beautiful Innisbrook, the Island Course where B will compete this weekend
