There are 72 players at the KW and only one of them shot an 80. Everyone else was in the 70’s, and a small handful are in the 60’s. Leader shot -6 today, two are tied for -4 in second place, four are tied for 4th place at -3, five are at -2 tied for 8th place, then Jordan is in a six way tie for 13th place. This is a very very tight field and everyone is good. They are playing from 6308 yards and the course is not simple. The players are from 17 different states and all are capable of winning. The tournament is only 36 holes so there is no room for a bad hold let alone a bad round.

Leaderboard after day one
B had a bit of a rough start bogeying her second and fifth hole going to +2 after 5. At that point she was in 42nd place and a full third of the field had not even recorded a single hole yet. From her sixth hole (she stared on 10, so after 15) JORDAN shot lights out….She went -3 for the next 12, bogey free and draining 3 🐥’s. She shot a 34 for her second 9. She had a total of 31 putts, she hit every fairway in regulation and missed only two greens. She had no 3 putts. Two bogeys, thirteen pars, and three 🐥’s. Oh, and not reported in this morning’s blog, B was at Urgentcare on Saturday with an upper respiratory infection and playing this morning was touch and go according to SuperMom, NEVER even a question for Jordan of course.

B’s Score card
That’s all for now. T time is 10:10 Texas time tomorrow off of hole number one.
Jordan is currently only two strokes out of a top five finish and with the talent arrayed here the leaderboard at the conclusion tomorrow may be vastly different. Thank you for all of the great comments, texts emails etc.

Tons of frost this morning during warm up

Thank you to SuperMom for the great shots
