🦅!!! JORDAN HOLES OUT EAGLE FROM 183 YARDS TO FINISH DAY ONE TIED FOR THE LEAD IN HARTFORD. (Click for pictures and more).

Very exciting round today for Jordan who played her heart out in Hartford at the Northern Junior Championship. She led the tournament through the 8th hole where she was -2. She bogeyed 9 to finish the front in 3rd place shooting 34. Ten was a disaster hole where B carded a double bogey and moved into 4th place. 11, 12, and 13 were pars. 14 a bogey, putting her at +2. 15 was a par, and 16 was a 3 putt bogey putting her at +3 and a tie for 8th place. Then the magic began….

Jordan had a beautiful shot onto the green of the par 3 hole and would 1 putt for 🐥 bringing her to +2 and back into 4th place. 18 is a 408 yard par 4. Jordan drove her ball 225 yards down the middle. With 183 yards to go B pulled out her 7 wood and lined up the shot and let it rip where it got the perfect amount of loft kissed the green and rolled straight into the hole delighting the screaming spectators and dropping her stroke count to even on the day and placing her in a three way tie for the lead. SuperMom turned to Coach Jerry Yochum and asked, “Did that go into the hole?” He replied, “Look at the reaction from the people there!” Not since Torrey Pines at the Junior World two years ago has B holed out an Eagle on a par 4 in competition.

This was a great round for Jordan that could not have been possible without the incredible support and guidance that she continues to receive from Coach Carl Rabito and Coach Jerry Yochum. Carl got her tuned up last week in Illinois and Jerry who is with B and SuperMom in Hartford has helped her get her mind set and worked with her on her putting. Amazing team and we are all grateful for their support and dedication to team TrexB.
