After shooting a -2 (70) in the second round at the 61st New York State Jr. Amateur Jordan is in solo 1st place coming into this afternoon’s third and final round with 2 strokes separating her from 2nd place with 18 holes still to play.
Jordan has 45 minutes to clear the scoring table, rest, do a press interview, scarf down the Jersey Mike’s sub that SuperMom was smart enough to procure, rehydrate, use the lady’s room, change her sneakers (she should, but she won’t out of superstition), re-apply sunscreen and be back on the T box for her 1:55 start. Consistency was the name of the game for B today as she had to slowly grind to conquer the gusty winds and the rest of the field who were gunning for her.

Jordan’s score card from this morning. 2 bogeys, 12 pars, 4🐥’s.

That’s all for now. Lots of golf still to play with a very talented field who are all interested in making sure that Jordan does not repeat last year’s victory. Thank you for all of the wonderful texts and phone calls today. 🤞

Doing well…. Great. Zunya
