In a rollercoaster of a day where Jordan started in 6th place, took the lead, held it for a bit then lost it, in the end a single stroke separated B from the trophy. After the mornings 18 holes she led the tournament by 2 strokes. She would birdie 1-3 to take a dominant 4 stroke lead before Sophia Li, (the girl that Jordan took the championship from last year) came to life with some incredible play including an Eagle to wrestle the trophy back from Jordan. As we have said on this blog many times before, Golf got in the way. In the end B shot 72-70-74 (even) for the 54 holes.
Anyway, on to the next. Jordan will relax a bit over the next two days before traveling to Illinois on Saturday to work with Coach Carl in preparation for playing her qualifier on Wednesday for The US Woman’s Am. We will publish the link to the live leaderboard on Tuesday night.
That’s all for now. Thanks for following.
