Jordan shoots even par for round one at the NY Jr. Am putting her in a tie for 6th place one stroke out of second and 4 off the leader with 36 holes still to play. (Click for details, photos, and videos.

This morning’s start was delayed by over an hour due to heavy fog. That is mountain golf in a nutshell. If you don’t like the weather, wait 5 minutes. Possible to have all four seasons within the span of a few hours.

Jordan had a slow start this morning bogeying the first hole, then paring 2, 🐥ing 3, then four putting 4 for a double. From 4-16, the next 12 holes she would shoot -3 with another 3 🐥’s before bogeying 17 and paring 18. Solid round with the exception of that one hole that she would have been happy to forget. One over on the front, one under on the back for even on the day.

B’s Scorecard today.

After 18 Jordan is just a single stroke off of second place and 4 strokes out of the lead with 36 holes left to play. She is very much still in this one and plans to bring her trophy back to Bedford tomorrow night. T times have not yet been announced but one thing is for sure….Tomorrow is going to be a long day for SuperMom with a ten plus mile walk/hike over 36 holes and probably 10 hours followed by a 4 hour drive back to Westchester.
