Jordan is in Sebring Florida for the Citrus Golf Trail Ladies Invitational that begins tomorrow. (Click for Pictures and Details.)

SuperMom packed her up yesterday afternoon for the 90 mile drive to Sebring where they set up for the week and Jordan’s second Ladies Amateur. Today was the official practice round, Jordan’s third at Sun N’ Lake Golf Course. 96 players will participate, 78 in the “Open Division” with Jordan. The rest in the senior division called “49 Forever.” B’s practice round today was with two of the seniors who SuperMom said could “Seriously hit the ball,” and referred to B as “THE KID” the whole round.

A little about the tournament (copied, pasted and plagiarized)……

ABOUT THE CITRUS GOLF TRAIL LADIES INVITATIONAL

Formerly known as the Harder Hall Invitational, this is a four-day no cut stroke play tournament for women amateurs. It was played at Harder Hall CC for more than 65 years, but in 2021 it moves to a rotation of courses on the Citrus Golf Trail in Sebring, Florida. The illustrious list of past champions includes the current world #1 Nelly Korda; Hall-of- Famer Joanne Carner; LPGA stars Christie Kerr, Brittany Lincicome, Morgan Pressel, Stacy Lewis and Charley Hull; amateur legends Carol Semple Thompson and Meghan Stasi; and two members of the winning 2021 Curtis Cup Team, Emilia Migliaccio and Gina Kim. It has long drawn an international field and has two Divisions: the Championship Division and the Forever 49 Division (max index 16.4). It is the first of the “Orange Blossom” series of Florida winter tournaments.

Jordan will T off at 9am tomorrow for round one in what will be a shotgun format. She will T off from…you guessed it, #3. There are 4 players in each group so this will not be a short round of golf. This will be four days, 72 holes to attempt to follow in Nelly Korda’s shoes. On the T sheet it shows where everyone is from including the universities or colleges they represent if they are currently in school.

Meanwhile, in Bonaire, SuperSister Lyla has officially earned her Open Water Scuba Certification and is spending her winter break Scuba Diving and Windsurfing when she is not asleep in her Hammock.

Thats all for now. Thank you for following. We will bring you up to date after the round. Of course, heavy rain is again in the forecast for tomorrow. Jordan’s gear may just finally be dry from the Dixie.

All that SuperMom sent to the publisher today.
