Today is the opening round of the Dixie Amateur in Pompano Beach Florida.

After three practice round with Coach Carl Rabito Jordan will take the T at 12:03 for the first of four rounds at the Dixie. This will be only the second 72 hole tournament Jordan has played in her young golf career and it will be her first Amateur Invitational. The field is 108 players, many Division One College as well as some of the top ranked Jr’s in the country. Represented here are players from Florida, Georgia, Washington, Texas, New Jersey, North Carolina, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Delaware, Michigan, Illinois, Tennessee, Louisiana, Alabama, Maryland, Kentucky, Vermont, Missouri, Mississippi, South Carolina, and California. In addition to those from the United States, there are also players from Canada, France, Japan, Colombia, and Malaysia. The field will be cut to 66 after Saturday for Sunday’s final round.

Jordan arrived in South Florida on Sunday after a stop in Jupiter to see her adopted golf grandfather Allen Sirkin. As usual, there was golf, trash talking, camaraderie and love. Day was capped off with dinner with both Allen and Bonnie where the trash talk continued. In the end, Allen was victorious but it came down to a final 35 foot putt that he made on 18 to close it all out. He got the $10 back and will hold it until the next time. Jordan had ceded 30 strokes to Allen. Next time she will only give him 29.

Jordan and Allen. Both wearing the TrexB hat. And yes, they will be available for those that want one very soon. SuperMom is organizing a portal for those interested.

Monday was the first practice round at Palm Aire Country Club. Course conditions were good and the weather held out. Tuesday was the second practice round, and yesterday the third played in the wind and the driving rain that looks to be what B will contend with over the next four days.

Jordan always enthusiastic and ready to go. How is that smile Jan?

Monday night dinner was at a fantastic Greek restaurant called Greek Islands Taverna with Jordan, Coach, and Dad. The address of the restaurant was significant when she looked up when we left after the meal, pic below. The next thing she said when she looked up was a moment of delusion looking at a building in the distance she claimed she could see Russia. Strange, for sure but one day we will all get an explanation or there was something in the Octopus. 🤔

Address of the restaurant . B has a thing for the number 33.

Monday Nights Feast

On Tuesday night Chuck Warden met us for Omakase dinner at Sushi Bou. Great to see him and delicious meal. Funny part was when we got in the car B and Coach Carl both claimed to still be hungry. Jordan Uber Eats in Shake Shack for her and Carl. Led to a round of belly laughing seldom enjoyed.

Here is a little history on the Dixie……

Below is the link to the leaderboard. No idea if it is going to be live or not. Jordan has been paired up with a Senior from Clemson and a Junior from Georgia Southern University. This threesome will be together both for today and tomorrow when their T time will be at 7:51 am. Pairings for Saturday and Sunday will be determined by standing. These two have no idea what is about to hit them today from the 16 year old TRexB.

That’s all for now. Thank you for your interest and the incredible support for Jordan. We will be back tonight with an update on today’s action.
