Jordan goes into day 2 at Ocala in a 4 way tie for the lead (click for pics and details).

After 6 weeks off from competition Jordan proves that she is able to quickly shake off the rust opening yesterday’s round with a πŸ₯ on her first hole (10, she started on the back). She would go on to add an additional two πŸ₯’s on the side with only a single bogey to finish the first 9 holes at -2. After parring one, B bogeyed 2&3 including missing an extremely unusual 1 footer. She got it back together parring 4,5,6,7,&8 before ending with a bogey on 9. She would finish that side +3 to sign her card at +1 on the day leaving her in a 4 way tie for the lead. T time this morning is 9:57.

FSGA tournaments get pretty granular with age groups so though there are 32 girls overall, only 9 are in the 16-18 year old age group which means that almost half of the field is tied at this point. Coach Carl felt that she did a great job considering her time away from tournament golf and that she left 7 legitimate strokes on the pitch. This tournament is a warm up for The Peggy Kirk Bell National Championship Invitational that B will play in North Carolina 3 weeks from now.

That’s all for now. Thank you for all the support including texts and emails, phone calls and shout outs. We promise to try to communicate better between tournaments. Jordan has been practicing with Carl and playing with her new crew at Tranquillo when her school schedule allows. Let us know if you are planning to be in the area visiting Micky and Minnie as we would love to see you.
