Jordan put together 3 solid rounds, 70-73-71 on this par 70 course to take 4th place honors in Normanside. She took a great run at it, but very hard to beat a Lu who shoots 62! Creative, yes, but the girl who won is in fact named Lu and inexplicably today she shot 62. This is the big league and as our Friend Chuck Warden told dad this morning, “Golf is the only sport where if you are really great you lose 95% of the time.” Chuck having been through this with his son, a star on the Cornell golf team, is a great source of information for Jordan’s parents and we are grateful for his guidance as is Jordan.

No lowlights to talk about. Jordan has proven that she can hold her own with some of the best other juniors on the planet. Though Jordan did not win, she bested a number of very talented girls who are ranked much much higher than she is. This has been a truly extraordinary run for a second AJGA top 5 finish.
Jordan will take bit of time off of competition so that she can work on a few things with Coach Carl. She should be back to competition sometime in late October, early November. For now it will be back to school and lots of practice.
That’s all for now. It has been a great summer and Jordan has really appreciated all of the support. Until next time………
Congratulations. What a great way to end the season. We know you’re good, but it is so sweet how you just keep getting better!!
