Starting the morning in 11th place B clawed her way up the leaderboard today in Salem shooting even par to finish in a 4 way tie for Fifth place. She was one under with two 🐥’s and a bogey on the front, and one over with 3 bogeys and 2 🐥’s on the back. Steady, consistent and determined is how Coach Jerry described Jordan’s play.

Jordan’s scorecard today.
In terms of Junior Golf, the AJGA is the top level of the organized tours. Only 11% of junior golfers will ever play even a single AJGA Open tournament. The most you may play each year (with the exception of invitationals) is 5 but very few will be excepted into 5 regardless. This tournament was Jordan’s 4th for the year and she will play her fifth and final a week from Monday in Albany. This was Jordan’s best finish thus far in any of the AJGA’s that she has played. Only 2 strokes separated her from medalist honors (3rd place).

The Final Leaderboard
That’s all for now. Jordan will be off from tournament golf until she returns on August 22nd for the AJGA UHY Albany Junior at Normanside Country Club. Coach Carl will come to NY next week for two days of intensive work to get B turned up for this last tournament of the summer 2023 tour. A big thank you to everyone who supports Jordan and again, a special shout out to Jerry who was again walking with SuperMom today taking careful notes, writing the play by play, and strategizing with Coach Carl.
