When Jordan took the T box this morning she was at the top of the leaderboard after shooting -1 yesterday. Jordan’s putter which has been the secret weapon over these past 5 tournaments would prove to be her Achilles heel today. B would have five 3 putts contributing to her 7 bogeys and one double bogey. 3🐥’s kept the round in the 70’s.
Golf is a very unforgiving game and things have to go just right to stay on top. Jordan has had quite a run these past few weeks with three 2nd place finishes and her Championship last week at the New York Jr. Amateur in Lake Placid. B’s last 4 tournament rounds leading up to today included 1 at even par and 3 under par. Today was still a top ten finish and though Jordan did not win, she still took down 30 other combatants.
Jordan hits the pillow tonight as a very tired young lady. She will have three days to recover before her next big tournament, an AJGA, The Golf Performance Center Junior at Salem Country Club August 7th through the 10th.

Rest up and enjoy your down time… oh that’s right there’s never a down time for this young golf star… it’s practice practice practice…. And more practice. And I can only be awed at how you continue to excel in the most frustrating sport one could choose to be a part of. Can’t wait for your next game.
