Jordan shot a +10 today in Missouri to end the day in 55th place. The last two days of practice rounds had been nothing short of brilliant. B made it all look easy. On Saturday she chipped in 2 birds, and a third hopped in and out. Yesterday she holed out an eagle. She was +1 over those TWO rounds of golf combined. She was relaxed and comfortable. Today, nothing worked. We can’t even point to a single area of weakness as that would suggest that there was an area of strength. For most golfers, this is normal. For Jordan, this was a very very frustrating experience.
Tomorrow she will have her work cut out for her if she hopes to qualify for the sweet 16. Can’t say it is probable but it is not statistically impossible either. She did it last year in Torrey Pines.
