Jordan shoots +4 to finish in 11th place at the US Woman’s Amateur Qualifier at Sundre. Unfortunately only the top two get to go. (Click for more).

Jordan came out to play today but unfortunately so did 24 other woman…This is not a typo, these were not juniors but rather full grown woman. With the exception of one combatant, the number 13th ranked junior in the WORLD on the on the Rolex, B was the top finishing Junior. The rest of those who finished ahead of her were Division 1 college players from top US golf universities. Five were on the Canadian National Team (their Olympic players are picked from that squad). In the end, Jordan took out 14 of them with the poise, grace, and grit that’s she possesses that is so unusual for a person of her age. Conditions were very difficult with temps in the low 40’s and winds gusting to 24mph and constant driving rain going almost sideways at times. Course was rated a 78 before those conditions. In the end, they were probably north of 79.

As for the game, Jordan had one double bogey, 5 bogeys, 9 pars, and 3 🐥’s. Only one 3 putt on the day. Certainly not the best golf Jordan has ever played, but a solid day none the less. This was for the US Amateur, the top amateur golf tournament on earth. She will not go this year, but don’t ever bet against her being there one day in the near future.

Tonight and tomorrow B will get to see Calgary with a quick round at Bear’s Paw Golf Club just to stay loose. Wednesday night she heads to Bolingbrook for a couple of days with Carl before traveling to Missouri for The Woman’s Western Jr. We will share details of that tournament on Saturday night from St. Louis.
