Jordan shoots even par today to end the Peggy Kirk Bell Championship in 6th place after three days in the spring rain of North Carolina. (Click for pics and details).

Jordan blasted off the first T today with precision not carding a single bogey on the front and sinking 2 🐥’s to finish the side at -2.

The back 9 was a bit more challenging. B parred 10, bogeyed 11, 🐥’d 12, bogeyed 13, parred 14-17, and then finished with a bogey on 18 to go +2 on the back for a finish of even on the day.

B finished this tournament in a great spot from where she started being on the verge of elimination after day one. She was actually in the top 5 today for a bit and the Peggy Kirk Bell Tour announced that move on their socials…see below.

Jordan’s play today was about as good as she can play with the exception of her putting which remains inconsistent. She had 3 one putts, but missed NINE birdie opportunities. Yeah, not a typo, 9. She hit every single fairway…seriously, she did not miss even one, and she was on the green in regulation in 15 of 18 holes. These are statistics that most can only dream about so that putting thing is a real issue and one that Jordan and her coach will fix.

As this is being written, SuperMom is driving B to the airport where they will fly to Orlando this evening. Jordan will spend the next 4 days going to school, studying for exams, and practicing with Coach Carl.

SuperMom will do 8 loads of laundry, unpack and re-pack, shop, cook, and feed the B and get her to and from Coach Carl and continue what have obviously been extremely affective pep talks.

On Saturday, they will fly to Hot Springs Arkansas for an AJGA Open Championship. Co-Am is Sunday, practice round is Monday, and the tournament is Tue, Wed, and Thursday. We will bring you the details and the link to the leaderboard when they are released.

That’s all for now. Thank you once again for supporting Jordan and all of us.

Today’s Scorecard

Yeah, pathetic, we know but it was raining. SuperMom promises to do better in Arkansas.

  1. Jordan you were amazing. Nothing stops you – not even the terrible rains. I am happy you are in Orlando to do what you have to do here. Good luck with your exams and practice for the next challenge. Love you and your determination to be the best golfer. gramma jerie
