Jordan shoots plus 3 today to make the cut and claw her way up the leaderboard into 10th place at the completion of day 2 of the Peggy Kirk Bell Memorial Day Championship in North Carolina. (Click for details and pictures).

In typical Jordan style when facing adversity she buckled down and got the job done. Last night she was on the verge of elimination (not making the cut) and ended the day in the top 10. The round was not exciting, she just played her game the way she knows how. As Coach Carl is fond of saying, “She had a piece of work to do and she got it done.”

On the front nine, B parred every hole except # 2 where she 3 putted for her only bogey on the side. Every other hole was a par.

On the back, number 11 gave her some grief when she drove the ball into a fairway bunker and it took her 2 shots to get out. To be fair, the bunkers were all a terrible mess as it has rained non stop for 2 days. The course was rated 77.8 before the wind and the rain. It will probably get recorded even higher than that. Sand was impossibly heavy and balls plugged 100% of the time. She doubled the hole.

She parred 12, 🐥’d 13, parred 14, Bogeyed 15 with a three putt, and finished by parring 16, 17, & 18.

In summary, Jordan had one double bogey, two bogeys, 14 pars, and 1 🐥. She had two 3 putts, and 4 one putts. This means 4 “Up and Downs.” In other words, her putting was an asset today and not the liability it was yesterday. She again showed herself to be a warrior of note. Yeah, this blogger is biased, but so far Jordan has NEVER missed a cut during a tournament regardless of how steep the hill is to climb.

That’s all for now. Kudos to SuperMom for what must have been a spectacular and inspiring pep talk over Olive Garden take out last night. One more talk tonight please SuperMom as a top 5 finish is only 4 strokes away. More pics tomorrow please (yeah, everyone knows it is raining but those are the requests!) Thank you for all of the calls, texts, emails and comments.

*** IMPORTANT CORRECTION FROM. YESTERDAY*** Hole 18 was a double bogey but it was NOT a 3 putt. Total 3 putts yesterday were four, not five as stated in last nights blog. We try to be accurate here.

Sum total of all the pictures sent to the editorial desk today from the field.
