Jordan is the runner up at The Rio Pinar 54 hole Junior Open shooting a day low AND Tournament low -4 with 5 🐥’s. (Click for details and Pics).

She was ready for a battle and brought her A game to Rio Pinar for the final 18 today. When the morning started, she was 7 strokes off the leader (we accidentally blogged 6 yesterday but it was 7) and damn near won trailing by only 2 strokes when she ran out of holes. Michael Jordan famously said, “I never lose a ball game, I just run out of time to win,” and that is exactly what happened to Jordan this tournament. B sunk 5🐥’s and matched her career tournament low score of 4 under par to conclude the tournament at even for 54 holes. The winner, Bella, is also 15 but is in the class of 2026 is ranked #18 in the world by the Junior Golf Scoreboard and lives on the golf course at Rio Pinar. She is a great player and she and Jordan will become nice practice partners it seems.

Jordan only had one bogey in the round and that corresponded with her only 3 putt for the day. She again walloped 15, the long par 5 on in 2 but the eagle try was from 50 feet and down hill so she settled for the 🐥. This was a truly spectacular round of golf and Super Mom who was the entire cheering section did not disappoint with pictures and videos.

Lots of practice still to go with the main part of the season still a ways off. Jordan will play a qualifier to attempt to earn a spot for the 2023 US OPEN that will be played in July at Pebble Beach in Pittsburg on May 9th. Between now and then the schedule is not clear but we promise to keep everyone up to date as it fills in.

Thats all for now. This one was a doozy but super exciting. Thank you for all of the good wishes via text, email, and comments on the blog. Jordan sees every one of them and truly appreciates it.
