Today Jordan shot a 75 including 2 bogeys, 1 double bogey after hitting a ball into the water, and finally a birdie, her only one of the tournament. She did manage to finish in 5th place moving up a few spots from the day before securing the always important, “Top Five” finish. Of course she is not excited by this and continues to remind this blogger that nobody remembers the team that loses the Super Bowl.
The weakness today was unquestionably her putter as she missed at least 7 legitimate birdie putts perhaps, as many as 9. According to coach Carl, “Bogeys are going to happen, can’t be avoided but to win, you have to make birdies.” They were simply nowhere to be found this weekend. Super mom who spent the day carefully following the tournament and taking notes vows to help B find extra practice time for putting this week.
Next week is sure to be exciting with The Hurricane National Championship. Sarah and Yirong Zheng will be in this week to hang with Jordan and Super Mom.
That’s all for now. Thank you for all of the texts and calls of encouragement.
How exciting to begin the new golf season with you and your Mom, Dad, And Lila the all around best sister! Nice game. I imagine when you end a game that I think is great… when you feel you didn’t do your best and I am in awe of what you did…..you must think “oh my what a silly old lady”😂😂….
Know you are giving this girl a fun and exciting journey “watching” these reports coming in. Hopefully we will be at Ballenisles when you play near us and finally I can see you in action. But for now…..great job❤️

Awesome effort after the winter downtime. Playing at this level 5th is an accomplishment in itself. 👏. It’s just practice for next week. Way to go JBL.

Jordan what a treat for Thanksgiving going to the golf course on Friday, me, Sara, Papa and, Daddy and watching you play. What a determined golfer you are. I just loved watching you take command of your clubs and wacking those balls when you had to do that and slowly with excellent precision pushing them into a hole. Amazing! And we all loved eating our delcious sandwiches that Dad made for all of us as we followed you around your tournament. You were terrific. Love you so much, gramma jerie
