Day two’s score is identical to day one. Jordan shoots a 72 and makes the cut for day 3. (Click for details)

Jordan is in the thick of it. Currently she is in a tie for 7th place only 3 strokes out of third, and 4 strokes out of second place. This course is unforgiving and Jordan got a bit beaten up today on the front 9. She had 5 bogeys and 2 birdies to finish the front at plus 3. On the back 9, she was stunning. She shot one under par, bogey free with one bird. Instead of folding when it got tough, she found a new gear and grinded away.

Jordan today had 5 bogeys, 10 pars, and 3 🐥’s. There were 4 birdie putts that literally missed by an inch and she almost holed out for an eagle. In addition, she came very close to a hole in one. Truly a fantastic round full of grit and excitement. “When her skill level finally catches up to her heart and her tenacity (and it will not be long) she is going to be unstoppable.” This is from coach Carl Rabito. The words are not exact, but that is the message. Please remember her first competitive round of golf was 24 months ago.

T time has not been posted yet so we will update with it tomorrow morning.

Thats all for now. Huge thank you for all of the great comments, texts, emails. A very special shout out to Nana Susan who writes such beautiful and heartfelt notes to all of us, thank you!

This is the approach to one of the par 3’s. The very definition of unforgiving.
When you see this sign when you drive in, you know it is a serious tournament.

  1. First…congratulations on a game well played….I can’t imagine how tough this course plays. It looks really like a monster.
I just adore that photo of you Jordan… crouching on your toes ….ball in one hand and club in the other….this is such a vision of what beauty… determination and incredible focus and strength look like. A classic photo to be hung on the wall. Truly the love of the game shot. Keep up the great work young lady. And much love to super dad for the sweet shout out. ❤️
