This was a very tough course and the players here are extremely competitive. This is an AJGA Open which means it is the big league of Junior Golf. This is an extremely tight field where only 4 strokes separate 3rd place from 23rd place. The rating of the course is also high making B’s +2 actually a -1.5 differential. Anyway, a long way around to say that she had a very strong opening day.
As for scoring, Jordan had 4 Bogeys, 12 pars, and 2 🐥’s. She did have 2 three putts which made the difference between this being a par round. Still 36 holes to play so lots can happen, good or bad but she is putting her head on the pillow a very happy girl tonight.
Dinner was at Anthos Greek, a wonderful spot that B found on Yelp, followed by desert at Fred’s Tasty Freez. Super Mom and Sister Lyla were replaced by dad who showed up in time for the back 9 and will stay through the next two rounds. First time he has seen her play since Torrey Pines back in mid July. T time tomorrow is at 8:50 AM.
Thats all for now. Thank you for for following and your amazing support.
All I can say is WOW
