For the first time since May, Jordan finishes a round that starts with an 8. No matter how hard a player tries, there are gong to be days like this every once in a while. There is not a ton to say about this one except that Jordan did not have a great round.
B bogeyed one, then immediately go it back with a bird on 2. Turns out that was the only one of the day unfortunately. Going hole by hole on this one is really just a futile exercise. This is simply one that she wants to forget and move on from.
If anyone had been keeping score, in the 7 tournaments, 18 rounds of golf, that Jordan has played since the end of May, her average round was 72.166. Three rounds were under par.
Now on to whats next….Tomorrow one of Jordan’s Dwight school friends is coming in from Massachusetts to play a round with her and have lunch. On Friday and Saturday Jordan is going to her first college “camp.” This is not an “official college visit” as per NCAA rules coaches can not recruit prospective athletes until June 11th of their sophomore year. This is simply a golf camp being held at Yale that Jordan was able to sign up for. Nonetheless, it will be super exciting for her to play at the Yale golf course and the camp is being run by the Head Coach of the Yale Woman’s golf team, Lauren Harling. Jordan will get a feeling for what a college practice looks like.
On Monday Jordan will compete in a Met Jr. PGA Futures Series Tournament at Eisenhower Red. This will be a two day event and again Super Mom will be in attendance. Her T time for Monday is at 12:40. Those tournaments do not have live scoring, so we will post the results on Monday night after they have all come in.
Thats all for now. Sorry we do not have better news about today, but she can’t win them all. Thanks for all of the texts, emails, calls and love. We all enjoy hearing from everyone.
