The day started out brilliantly with B barely missing birdie putts on holes one and two, then going on to birdie 3 & 4 taking her to -2 after 4. She would par 5, bogey 6, and then par 7,8,9 to finish the side at -1. The back was not as crisp with 5 bogeys and bird to end the first round at a +3 and 7th place.
The second 18 holes just did not go Jordan’s way and she shot a +6. Overall, not a terrible day shooting 73/76 in 96 degree heat for 10 hours but the problem here is the strength of the field. These girls are the best of the best and 9 strokes over par puts B into 13th place after 2 rounds. The field is extremely tight with only 3 strokes separating her from a top 5 finish, and 5 strokes to a 3rd place finish.
This is going to be rather short tonight as Super Mom was too hot to take any photos or videos it seems leaving us with nothing! T time for the final round is 9:50am after which they will drive back to Pound Ridge. Jordan will sleep in on Thursday, then practice on Thursday afternoon and Friday at Rockrimmon. Saturday she will play Hampshire Country Club as a guest of our friend Ken Berkowitz, and on Monday and Tuesday she will compete in the Met Jr. PGA Championship trying to earn a spot in the Jr. PGA National Championship in August in Illinois.
Thats all we have for today. Thanks all.
What a schedule!!!!

It seems like there is a lot of progress here under difficult conditions. Add flying around and driving it takes will!
